No "Mother's day" Day

We had a full day activity for Louise instead...I didn't mind as long as the whole family enjoyed the day :-)

After receiving the gummi bear, i think she was stunned...She repeatedly looked at the mascot and the gummi bear hahaha!!!

I had no choice ....

MIL celebrated her 60th birthday, as a gift, we surprised her with a simple party attended by close family and friends. I love planning and hosting parties but not the responsibility that  goes with it. Here in Germany, if you're going to host a party you need  must fix/arrange/clean everything before and after your event. Yes, after having fun in your own party you have to clean everything a day after, that sucks! So to save myself from too much work,  this is how i planned MIL 60th birthday dinner....

Embarassing to say but I used disposable table cover

Used paper plates and utensils :(   ...but please give credit to her souvenir, I made a tea bag!!! There's 2 teabags inside...

In the end, its not the type of things that you used in the party but the memories made that evening....
